Hääjuhlat Merimelojien majalla

Suomen ilmastossa syksyisissä häissä on kuvaajan kannalta kolme haastetta kesään verrattuna: Ympäristön värittömyys, sateisuus ja aikainen pimeys. Näissä syyshäissä ei onneksi ollut tietoakaan edellämainituista tekijöistä. Puut olivat komeissa ruskan sävyissä, sadetta ei näkynyt ja hääjuhlat vietettiin merenrannassa, jossa valon voi käyttää viimeiseen jälkihehkun rippeeseen asti. Wedding shoot in Arabia, Helsinki. It was due to rain all week long, and especially on this day. But it didn’t, and we had a great time shooting in sunny – though windy – weather. Shot with a Nikkor 85mm 1.8, Sigma 70-200 2.8 and lit with Elinchrom Quadra ranger strobes.

Hedonism is good

The Goce restaurant in Helsinki started to host a monthly club, Hedonism by Haerski Jytke, with resident DJ’s O.D. Overdose and God Wind. I had a wonderful time, and the best GT of my life. Check it out again in 1.3. and 5.4.! Shot with a Sigma 28mm 1.8 and Nikkor 85mm 1.8. Lit with a Nikon SB-700

Going out the door today was an adventure just by itself. It snowed approximately 1 cm of snow per hour, for 30 hours straight (and it’s still coming down).
